New Abstracts and Caffe Tazza Art Show Photos!

The owner of Caffe Tazza, Jane Keller, told me she was looking for a couple of matching gold and white paintings for her home. At the show Thursday, she had on the most gorgeous color gold top and mixed with all sorts of gold crystal and beaded necklaces. She totally inspired me to paint these two abstracts. They are hers if she wants them, otherwise they are $400 each if anyone is interested. They are both 30"x40", and if no one buys them I might have to redo my living room! Sorry about the poor photos, I will take better ones outside tomorrow. They are still damp.

I had an AMAZING turnout at my show on Thursday! I love seeing everyone!! My family always comes and my sweet friends always come support me. Caffe Tazza also makes the BEST latte I've ever had, an oh so tasty cheese plate and the most AMAZING carrot cake ever! Greg and I even went back this morning. It is our favorite place to go!

YUM! The ceramic hand-painted Italian coffee cups add so much luxury to their tasty lattes!

Me and my greatest supporter- my hubby!

Last Thursday I attended the NYLO Hotel's big grand opening in Las Colinas. It was so neat to see my Longhorn on the wall in the lobby/bar! It was a great party, and one of the coolest hotels I have ever seen! Go check it out if you are ever in the area. Say hello to my Longhorn!

Here is my little Crazy Owl that I donated to the hotel for their charity auction benefiting the Make A Wish Foundation.

Crazy Owl and a Show in Salado

This past week I painted Crazy Owl for a charity auction benefiting the Make a Wish Foundation for the grand opening at NYLO Hotel in Las Colinas. If you are in the area, the opening is this Thursday night. Should be fun!

I also went to Salado for the opening of AARTELL/Wine Seller Uncorked juried art show. It was PACKED! A great night! It was an honor to be selected.
My work is the giant longhorn in the middle :)

This was the other longhorn in the show by Johnny Shipman of Salado- love it!

Hotel Nylo Las Colinas Artist Awards Luncheon

Last Tuesday Hotel NYLO hosted a luncheon for the artists and the hotel designers. I delivered "Longhorn Love" and it was neat to meet the other contributors and see their work. Hotel NYLO did a great job! I am excited for the hotel to open in July! Here are some photos...
